Good soft play but over priced

点评：We’ve been to many, many soft plays.. It’s a well thought out soft play with lots of different areas to entertain kids, however we paid £5 entry for each adult (usually free or minimal elsewhere), over £10 for our 2 year old and over £12 for our 6 year old. That’s crazy money in comparison with comparable soft plays.
The setting is also pretty cold, so I’m not sure why some of our entry fee isn’t going towards heating the place.
There’s a cool area with 3 raised sandpits and when they are working you can project different scenes onto them but they still weren’t working so that was disappointing. We also arrived for the start of the morning session but there was still sand on the floor in that area as though it hasn’t been cleaned prior.
We ordered an English breakfast and some drinks. The English breakfast was largely cold and not great. My toasted tea cake was burnt so I sent that back but when a second one turned up and wasn’t burnt I could tell from how chewy it was that it had been quickly defrosted in order to be served.
