Beautiful well kept castle

点评：We booked the tour and castle gardens access ticket in advance. This is quite popular according to their website. We are a couple and we were there on Easter Weekend. Luckily the weather is dry and sunny.
The tour guide is very knowledgeable of the castle. We were showed in the castle and a few rooms of the castle. I must say that the painting collection in this castle is just beautiful! We were in a small group for the tour. The 1.5 hours guided tour is excellent value for money. The items and the parts of the castle we were shown were all equally beautiful.
The toilets/access were also clean and easy to locate. The tea room is also beautifully laid and presented. There’s even a few tables/chairs outside on the castle grounds to have your tea or if you fancy cake & coffee they also serve that including lunches.
The castle grounds - due to Easter is filled with Easter egg hunters and a small fair at the time we visited. There’s a small plants shop which we bought a lovely memento for our visit.
I would highly recommend the place and really to optimise your visit, allocate the day for it.
