Davidstow Airfield & Cornwall At War Museum的点评
点评：Thought I’d seen everything regarding wartime artefacts but there’s lots here that I hadn’t.
Museums usually have so much to read and observe that you can be overloaded with information and exhibits and this one is no different. Save for two things. The curators are on hand and make a visit well worthwhile. Their enthusiasm is clear to see. On top of that there are several short videos on tv screens dotted about the museum that are very informative.
Spent a most enjoyable couple of hours during an extremely wet day, but with most of the exhibits under cover it’s ideal for one of those ‘what can we do in weather like this’ days.
The visit brought many memories to the fore especially having served at St Mawgan way back in the mid 1970s.
If you’re a war history buff then this is definitely for you.
