A young family treated like criminals.

点评：Museum remains quirky and interesting, and is one we've visited many times over the years. Elderly staff manning reception were fairly abrupt from the off, but when we couldn't fit all of our bags (including baby change things) into the handful of tiny lockers available and tried to carry the rest in they became very rude, lots of interrupting us, hand waving and condescending info about what we should know about 'all musuems'. We were offered an unsecured room, but for obvious reasons that wasn't OK. After a wait with an increasingly agitating baby we finally grabbed lockers from someone leaving, and thought that was the slightly unpleasant end to it. However, any hopes of moving on evaporated when after 10 or so minutes into the musuem we were challenged by security, who said he was looking specifically for us and asked us to explain where our bags were. Just as a tiny reminder, we were paying for the privilege of being treated like this! Finally on the way out, the security guard stood in the locker room eye-balling us as we collected our belongings, at which point I was so fed up with whole thing I asked "why are you here checking up on us"...he sheepishly said it wasn't anything like that, and that he comes in the room for all leavers.
Due to our small people, it takes us a while to pack, but weirdly the 10 or so other people who used lockers while we did so didn't come with accompanying security gaurd (?!). I obviously missed something, and there must be a clear security risk from a mother with tiny baby, a 4 year old year and a 40 something male which justifying this appalling treatment. It all left a terrible impression and one which could have been managed so much better with a few kind words rather than what we suffered. Something needs to be looked at urgently here, nobody should be made to feel like this.
