Unexpectedly intersting and informative, a great use of time and attention

点评：We came to Dundee to visit friends who recently moved here, we had no expectation that the other exhibits in the area would be anything to compare with the Victoria and Albert, for example. However, the Verdant Mills Museum was easily their equal in execution and interest, and to some extent exceeded them because it was an area on which I knew practically nothing when I started.
Nevertheless, they set out a clear story of the improbable series of events that led to jute processing landing in Dundee as a major industry. I also like the fact that they confronted pretty openly the economic and social issues that resulted from this success. There was no hiding of some of the outcomes, along with mentioning a great deal of benefits to the community. In short, we spent more time than I expected, and I would probably go back during our next visit.
