点评：We joined another couple on a two week tour of the Scottish highlands. We started on the west coast and circled up the coast to the Orkney Isles. Our driver Jim was great company and an experienced guide. (for Jim and all Scots - good luck in 2026 FIFA games 🏴) . The tour company was very responsive to an unexpected last minute ferry cancellation .They were able to get us accommodations and a new route to get the tour back on track . The accommodations were four star converted estates or traditional hotel’s with a few quirks that added to the experience. Breakfast and
dinner were included in the tour. The meals were excellent. For this trip, travellers should be prepared for a significant amount of time in the van, but the scenery is varied and spectacular.
The best part of the tour was the Puffins, Fingals cave, various castle and the Neolithic sites on the Orkneys.
