普芬比利蒸汽小火车的点评
点评：We organised to take some international visitors to go on the puffing billy steam train to lakeside.
On the day we got there noticed that our train was not a steam train. Thinking that it was just there temporarily, we boarded the train. Just before we were scheduled to leave the we saw a steam train moving into place next to our train. In the end they just showed us the steam train but our ride up and back to lakeside was with a diesal train.
It was such a disapointment and to be honest false advertising. All images on the website, booking page are of steam trains. we paid full price and did not get what was advertised. Then to make things worse as we were leaving lakeside the train that just came in was the actual steam train.
So if you are set on actually taking a trip on a steam train, dont bother going here as it seems completely up to their discretion on which trips do and do not have steam trains and you pay full price either way.
