点评:I know almost nothing about horse racing but found this place to be very interesting. We had a very informative guided tour; be prepared to walk!
There is an entry fee.
The grounds are well kept and attractive. We started with a stroll to the stallion stables. A few of the stallions were in their boxes and we could look in. There are plenty of signs around to interpreter the area.
We then walked past several paddocks to the foals and mares area. They were outdoors but not near the fence - and I'm not sure we would have been allowed to touch them.
Again, the grounds are beautiful with a couple ponds, sculptures and even a playground area for children.
As you leave the horse area you can enter a ticketed Japanese garden. It is fabulous with several walkways. There are maps available, but you can just wander. Even though it was crowded when I was there it didn't feel overcrowded. It was very refreshing and calming.
They, of course have toilets and a gift shop. Plenty of parking too.
