Treasury is Petra’s most iconic monument. Once thought to hide treasures, it stuns with its towering 40m façade, intricate Nabatean-Greek design, and magical reveal at the end of the Siq.
The walk down is leisurely, and the dramatic reveal is unforgettable—worth the anticipation.
Viewpoints From ground level, it’s majestic, but for a small fee (10 JOD) locals guide you to higher viewpoints where you can capture better shots.
Plenty of spots to sit, sip tea, and soak in the view.
Souvenir stalls and photo opportunities are scattered around, but it never takes away from the grandeur.
