I spent about 90 minutes exploring this little church, while other visitors came and went.
What a joy. I've never seen architecture like this. I'd love to know more about the words, barely visible, carved into the floor. I'd love to understand the symbols scratched into the walls.
Cool and quiet and magical.
It's a hilly hike from the Alcazar. If you have mobility or heart issues, maybe take a taxi instead of walking. Once you're there, if you have mobility issues you may want to stick to the outside and the ground floor level of the inside: outside has some drop-offs, and the inside staircase is worn and treacherous.
Please note that the entrance fee is payable only in cash. I think it was 3 euros.
