Great history, shame about all the noisy low flying microlights

点评：Before you go in, take a look in front of the temple at the Avenue of the sphinx, 400 sphinx’s stretching 3km into the distance to Karnak temple. Amazing !!!!
I’d recommend a guide, so you properly understand the history, including where the Romans altered it, You can even see Roman pictures on the wall.
It’s not a large temple, only takes about an hour to get around.
The one thing which spoilt this (and our visit to Karnak), were the volume of noisy low flying microlights. These sights are treasured temples and should be treated with respect. People should have to shout to make themselves heard over these noisy low flying microlights. While drones have been banned from flying over such places, microlights should be too, some even appeared to be doing aerial stunts above these structures, which really need protecting !!!
