点评:I though that the story behind Hatshepsut and her reign was pretty cool - especially the explanation on how she was a "male inside the female body sent by the gods" :)
The area is pretty interesting as it's probably the biggest open area, still many spots under excavation and active projects as you pass them by, and while "inside" there is not that much to see I think it's still one of the most recognizable pictures from Egypt next to the Great Pyramids at Giza
TIP: if you can't walk the long distance don't worry, they offer Melex (think golf carts with a driver) rides (I think they are actually part of your ticket) that will take you from the main gate to the actual temple - though once there you will need to do it on your own, do were a hat or take an umbrella with you as this is a very hot and sunny wide open area (we visited in November and it was hot!!!)
