The Good:
This is a huge market that has been running for many years and become one of the biggest seasonal draws for tourists to the island. Everything in the market must be produced on Saltspring
There is everything, from produce to arts & crafts, guitars, wines, soaps and cheeses.
I would estimate that there are probably at least 100 vendors,
Public washrooms and lots of restaurants and food vendors to keep the masses fed
The Bad:
Not much parking!!! They do need to work on this problem in the downtown area
Conclusion:
Well worth visiting while you are here, it opens at 9:00am and if you come before that you can usually get 3-hour parking downtown. Bring some money because it is difficult to leave without purchasing things that you cannot do without. Check out the online video for more...
