Amazing! Authentic desert camping

点评：This was an intimate desert experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. We were the only ones on the camel safari and we didn’t see any other groups. This was real camping, not car camping or glamping. This is the real deal. We easily made contact with Kamal, (owner) via email and then through What’s App. We were a little hesitant about this since we were putting our faith in him before we even left the States for our trip but things couldn’t have been better! We completely enjoyed our experience. Kamal picked us up at our hotel, we paid him and we drove out to the desert in his jeep. We then hopped on our camels and off we went! Mobia and Salem were our friendly guides through the desert. They were absolutely amazing. They made sure we were comfortable all the way through. They live in the desert and speak a dialect and also enough English to explain desert life to us. They made a small fire, cooked a delicious meal on it and taught us how to make chipati. We slept on cots piled with thick blankets, which kept us super warm. I also had a light down jacket on and a wool cap. It does get very cold in the desert so be prepared. Also, it gets very damp so put your shoes under the cot so they stay dry and bring extra socks. We watched the sun set, star gazed, sat by a warm fire, played in the dunes, sipped the best chai ever and watched the sunrise all before heading back on Johnnie and Rocket, our sturdy camels. We literally camped out in the desert and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Everyone was super pleasant, fun, friendly, safe and professional. We had a blast and can’t recommend these guys enough! Thanks Kamal, Mobia and Salem!
