The absolute highlight of our trip!!

点评：What an absolutely incredible experience! We booked it before we went and it was the highlight of our holiday! Maura was so friendly and welcoming when we met her and clearly loves what she does. The horses were well looked after and matched up thoughtfully to the riders so that me and my partner had horses that were friends and liked to be together.
The ride down to the beach was great. It was the first time I had ever been on a horse and I felt very confident that the horse knew exactly what it should be doing. But the magical bit was arriving at the beach, getting back on my unsaddled horse and getting in the water!! One by one we were each given the chance to swim with our horse and what an experience!! It was utterly brilliant at such a beautiful spot in crystal clear and calm waters. Afterwards we rode back to the stables and were treated to water and a pot of fresh fruit and nuts. I loved the experience from start to finish. In the evening they do a shorter, hour-long forest trek and I’d definitely like to do this next time I’m in Kalamaki although to be honest, I’d do the swimming one again in a heartbeat.
I also need to mention, the lovely Cheyanne as she was such a good guide and was so friendly to all of us riders. She had a great knowledge of all the horses on the ride and made me feel very secure.
