Lovely place, not just for those with an interest in plants
Hortus Botanicus Leiden的点评
点评:We visited the Botanical Gardens on a sunny Saturday and it was not overly busy. There were lots of plants in the grounds and all had labels and were divided up into different sections such as Mediterranean plants and Ferns. The tropical house and the glasshouse housing the succulents and carnivorous plants have several sets of steep stairs so would not be accessible to anyone with poor mobility. The rest of the gardens had wheelchair routes clearly signposted and the paths were fine gravel. There were lots of seats around the gardens to stop and enjoy the surroundings. Entry cost €11.50 per adult and there were leaflets available in English with a map. There is a cafe at the start of the route and a small ice cream parlour at the Observatory half way around that also sold drinks and snacks.
