点评:This is the Royal Family’s Residence while they are visiting Bergen. There are tours given in the summer months of July & August. Go online and book your visit. They have tours in either Norwegian or English — limited to up to 15 persons per tour. We had 6 people during our tour in English. You see the rooms on the first floor — the second floor is their private residence so it is closed to visitors. No inside photos are allowed on the tour, no worries though because the surrounding grounds are lovely and open to the public. You can even go swimming at their Beach or have a picnic! There is parking in a lower area. It can be a hard walk up for people with mobility issues — the walkway is paved though and fine for wheel-chairs. Our guide was wonderful and we learned a lot about the history of the house and about a lot of Important people from the Bergen area who were connected with the house and in the fight for Norwegian independence from Sweden in 1905. This really is a fantastic tour for History lovers and those interested in the formative of the Kingdom of Norway.
