点评:I honestly can’t believe this place is considered a “high-end” golf course.
My friends and I carved out a short vacation and decided to play at Turtle Bay, drawn by the Arnold Palmer name. The website made it look amazing with stunning views, and I was genuinely excited when booking. Unfortunately, the reality was extremely disappointing.
We flew 2,500 miles from LA and played on the morning of September 5th. At $200 per person, it’s not cheap. But when we arrived, there was no warm greeting, minimal explanation from staff, and it honestly felt like we had just walked into a $70 municipal course.
The real shock came when we reached the first green—all 18 holes had just been aerated. There was no notification whatsoever at booking or check-in. If we had known, we absolutely would have chosen another course. This completely ruined the first day of our vacation.
On top of that, the course views are nowhere near what the website shows. Ocean views are minimal at best.
Overall, this experience was a huge letdown. If you’re considering playing here, make sure to call ahead and ask about course conditions (especially aeration), otherwise you may end up as disappointed as we were.
