Fantastic "Must See" Museum, and It's Free!
Door County Historical Museum的点评
点评：This is one of our favorite museums, which is packed with many displays and artifacts. The staff members take the time to share interesting facts about Door County, pointing out various items we might have overlooked. The lifesize Seasons of Life Wildlife Dioramas that greet you when you come in the front door are spectacular, showcasing countless native birds and animals from the area. I loved the recreated Main Street Storefronts downstair that display some of the merchandise that was sold in them from a bygone era. There is a Pioneer Fire Station with a restored 1920 firetruck in it. So much to see and do, and it's unbelievable that it's a free museum. Hopefully everyone that visits here will leave a contribution so that this fantastic museum can continue to operate for everyone to enjoy!
