Humans are destroying this place and clearly can’t abide riles to protect the quokkas

点评:The quokkas, other animals, scenery were lovely. In fact quokkas are down right adorable. However I fear for the quokkas future!! We went for a day trip, having been 20 years plus ago and found the place unrecognisable there has been so much development which is not in the interest of quokkas as it is taking from their habitat!
Clearly there needs to be less development of the area and more signs in other languages about the rules around quokkas; as I saw a number of non speaking English families allowing their child to touch and kick quokkas, as well as feed them (which makes them sick). I even saw a teen pick a quokka up and we reported her to the ranger who stepped in and advised her not to touch.
It is my fear that humans are destroying this once beautiful environment for the wildlife have we learnt nothing as a species!!! I found litter and broken glass in areas where signs specifically indicate humans should not go.
Although we loved seeing the quokkas, we are displeased disappointed and angry at how humans are behaving and it ruined the experIence!!!
