点评:I came by to see the snow festival in Sapporo, and Odori Park was one of the locations. The park is divided into 10 distinct sections, each corresponding to a city block. The park has the Sapporo Tower on one end and the Shiryokan Building on the other. I didn't get all the way, stopping after the 11th block from the Sapporo Tower, as that was where the snow festival ended.
There were lots of snow sculptures of varying sizes along the park. The large ones were very impressive and very large. Many of the park's features were hidden under the snow but some were visible like the obelisk and some of the fountains. It was an enjoyable place to walk since it was fairly covered, even when it was snowing fairly heavily.
The view of the park was quite nice up the Sapporo Tower. I did come before and after (about 2 weeks later) the snow festival, and the park was pretty much inaccessible after the festival while they were clearing the snow.
