点评:Lots of squid, salmon and crab, particularly king crab. Some meals are around £5 some £10 and for king crab particularly it becomes pricy.
The food stalls were all very samey and I was neither excited nor impressed, worse still I wasn’t interested in sitting on a bench and having something to eat. I wasn’t alone as I didn’t see many diners; just folks like us ambling around.
If I were to return I wouldn’t bother going back here: Spanish fish markets are much more diverse and splendid. One thing really surprised me though: I saw watermelons being sold at £12 apiece or about 6 times what I usually pay then I passed another stall and they were £60 a watermelon.
I took a double take as I didn’t believe it. A Canadian chap standing beside me looked at me and said wow are they fed champagne but I reminded him that we are in the land where farmers massage their cows and feed them beer do a top grade fillet is £190 a kilo. Definitely pixelated.
