点评:This is such a unique shrine, the lanterns is one thing but it's just its placement within the nature surrounding it, and then the pathways you follow to explore the shrine, that huge old tree in the middle of it growing through the roof, the dimmed room with the lid up lanterns - it's so many cool memories from here, and then of course even deer visit the area - such a positive memory of this beautiful place.
The orange/red color stands out and the concept of those lanterns is super unique, there is just so many of them that makes this such a unique place/image - loved it!
TIP: biggest complain is that the road leading to it is small and when they get busy you can get stuck in traffic - after we left Todai-ji Temple we should have simply walked from there but instead we had taken a bus which got stuck in a 45m delay - the walk is through the actual Nara Deer Park which is also another scenic spot - so don't make the same mistake and park only once and walk through these places, you will love it!
