It's a beach, a few starfish in the water

点评：For all the fuss that we heard from this place. After the trip to seeing the dolphins we had lowered our expectations to basically nothing. So if we got to the beach and we managed to see 1 starfish, we would be somewhat happy.
But after the boat ride to see the dolphins, we decided to simply take a taxi from the town. The ride was actually very good as they have a brand new road, so the ride was about 25 minutes and apart from 1 cow and a few dogs in the street (which made it interesting), I would recommend just taking a taxi. And it's also cheaper if you are more than 1. We got there and it's a beach. We decided to walk the path from the drop off point to the starfish beach. The do have water taxis, but the walk is about 15 minutes and it is an easy walk (the kids got to see lots of crabs along the way). The starfish beach itself must be nice when not covered by 20 some tourist boats. And they installed so many places to eat that you think you are in Cancun or Playa del Carmen 5th avenue in Mexico. It feels so commercial, so touristic. Anyway, we managed to get to the beach, walking between a few dozen drunk people and we did see 2 starfish in total and a few rays. That's it. Not worth the trip. After living in Panama for over 15 years, I could recommend 20 other places nicer than that. And all 100 times less crowded with tourists. This is the perfect tourist trap, they bring you in a herd, you eat, you see a starfish, you go back. They pick up another herd of tourists. After the dolphins leaving, I am sure there are a few starfish considering moving to another place. Who wants to be next to 500 tourist, half of them drunk?
