点评：Located just outside of Yokohama City, a beautiful private garden. it is worth the effort to get here.
Adjust your visit to coincide with the various seasons. We visited during the iris exhibition. Just beautiful.
This place is a bird watcher's heaven. So many birds just hanging out. If you love flowers, go when specific flowers are in season. If you are looking for a quiet, romantic place to spend time, this is the place to be.
There are two gardens: An outer and an inner garden. It will take at least a couple of hours to walk through the trails at a reasonable pace. There are rest stops, washrooms, and concessions at strategic locations in the park. The concessions are cash only. There are some outbuildings that house events, exhibitions, and even have a small cafe.
There are garden guides that walk with you to explain the various historical significance of the buildings. The ones I noticed only spoke in Japanese.
Ticket costs were ¥900 per adult, and it was money well spent.
It does take some effort to get here. You either need to use a combination of trains and buses, or be willing to walk through a residential area to get to the entrance. Our taxi fare from the center of Yokohama city to the garden gate was about ¥3,000. Using the bus to get back was only ¥220.

We were very happy we discovered this place and wished we had more time than the two hours we spent here.
