Underwhelming and overwhelming
埃森的关税同盟煤矿工业区的点评
点评：The grounds are huge so bring good walking shoes (there's also a little train if you don't want to walk)! I was both underwhelmed and overwhelmed by the experience. We arrived with the tram and entered the grounds close by the big landmark. The first walk around the area was pretty barren and you can avoid the sculpture park altogether if you're not interested in square blocks, but once you get to the grand hall and the kokerei - WOW! Be sure but to miss the furniture store, the swimming pool and the café by the industrial pool. It was such a special and unusual vibe!
After lunch at The Mine (good German food) we visited the Ruhr museum but it was not for me. It felt very randomly put together and a lot of the signs were just in German which made it hard to understand for me. If you're very interested in industrial history you might have another opinion of course! I'm glad I visited but knowing what I know now I would have skipped the museum, brought my bathing suit and had lunch by the industrial pool!

在The Mine餐厅吃完午饭后（那里的德国菜很不错），我们参观了鲁尔博物馆，但对我来说并不合胃口。整个展览的陈列显得杂乱无章，而且很多说明牌只有德语，这让我很难理解。当然，如果你对工业历史非常感兴趣的话，可能会有不同的看法啦！我很高兴自己去过，不过现在知道了这些情况后，我大概会选择不去参观那个博物馆了。我带上了泳衣，还在工业泳池边吃了午饭！
