点评:We initially thought that Noritake Garden is a shorter walk north of Nagoya Station, but it turn up longer…
Noritake is actually a leading Nagoya-based company in the ceramics industry with a rich history of over 100 years. The Noritake Garden (ノリタケの森, Noritake no Mori) was built on the company's former factory grounds and introduces the company and its products while providing a pleasant, recreational space in the middle of city. The Noritake Museum help showcases the company's ceramics and porcelain fascinating developmental history. Visitors can even take scheduled guided tours of the factory to see the production process within the Meiji-era (1868-1912) red brick buildings of the old ceramics factory.
There are a few buildings within the premise, we visited the Crafter Center and the Retail shop but skip the Museum. Be amazed by the many fine works of porcelain, they are for sale too.
The Garden itself is so large and nice. Seasoning changing period and chilling at about 10 deg. Have shared some pic as attached. The garden also includes a cafe and restaurant ( dining with Noritake tableware of course! ).
Really can spend more than 1.5 hours here Furthermore, a large Aeon shopping mall was opened in 2021 adjacent to and named after the Noritake Garden.
