点评：I attended the Noir City 22 Film Festival on Jan. 31, Feb. 1 and Feb 2, 2025. The theater is a grand movie palace from 1925. They have the ability to present 35mm films, quite a rarity nowadays. The screen and proscenium curtains are gorgeous.
My main reason for rating two stars is the intensely cold main theater. It seats 635. Everyone I talked to mentioned how cold it was. I wore two to three layers of sweaters, mittens, wrapped my legs in a shawl, and wore double pairs of pants on the third day, and couldn't get warm. I could feel cold air blowing on me no matter where I sat during those days. Funny that during the intermissions, it was warm, and then freezing as soon as the movies started. I mentioned it to a manager who simply declined to help. I coughed through each movie, and today, am home from work, finally sick from prolonged exposure to the cold.
Another inadequacy are the availability of downstairs disabilty restrooms. There are two separate, private restrooms, one under each side of the grand staircase, and easily have lines of a dozen people or more at each one. There are more stalls upstairs but the staircase is huge, and difficult for those of us with mobility issues.
