Vacation package made it a positive experience otherwise it probably would have been hell!

点评：This was built independently from other Disney parks which probably makes it the most unique Disney park in the world. And unique it certainly is! Along with the different rides and attractions you won’t find anywhere else there is also out of this world theming along with a couple of the firm favourites like Sorin’ and Tower of Terror albeit with some Japanese twists.
Our experience was undoubtedly improved massively being vacation package guests as we got priority access to a number of attractions and getting access to the park 15 minutes early guaranteed additional rides without the 4hr queues we saw later in the day. Yes 4hr queues - meaning some rides were closed by 4pm to allow everyone in the queue to ride it before the park closed at 9pm which was the closing time during our visit. Queues for food stands and restaurants were over 60mins. There were areas of the park which felt overcrowded but then there were also wide open spaces.
We were sat too far away to really appreciate the nighttime show (yes they make you sit down for the nighttime shows in Tokyo in the majority of areas) but it looked a little like Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios in Florida. Food and merchandise is noticeably cheaper in Tokyo than other parks which was a surprising bonus.
