River Explorer Boat Tours的点评
点评：When the first thing the captain says upon arrival is “I hope you brought your slickers” , you know things are not off to a good start. It did not bode well for our trip. When we arrived at the arrival/departure point there was nothing to mark the boat as being from “River Explorer” tours. We were not greeted by the captain, nor invited aboard, so we did not feel very welcome. Once onboard, we were disappointed by the condition of the boat as well. On top of being dirty, the seats were moldy, the cup holders were full of mysterious liquids and the upholstery was ripped. No safety briefings, nor introductions were given. We took a chance with the weather, having called the business earlier in the day due to the poor forecast. We were considering rescheduling but ultimately were encouraged by the owner to proceed with our trip. Unfortunately we got soaked. Weather is out of one’s control but a suggestion to either bring proper gear or to reschedule to a different day, would have been appreciated and built a lot of good will. On a good note, we did see some dolphins, many birds and even a manatee from a far. Note to owners - tidy up your boats, invest in some decent signage and provide a more robust and interesting presentation.
