Betaab Valley, previously Hajan/Hagan Valley located in Pahalgam, is a picturesque destination in the Pir Panjal range in Pahalgam in Anant Nag district, and it's sbout 3000 meters above msl. Named so after Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh starrer Bollywood movie 'Betaab' was shot here, the valley is renowned for its stunning natural beauty. During the tailend of November, in the late afternoon, it was like a fully-drawn canvas with multihued tree leaves and willows(?) in the mesmerising backdrop of snow-capped Pir Panjal mountain ranges. Adding to the charm was the white floating clouds.
The main attraction, the Lidder River, at this time of the year has minimal water flow; however, tourists don't muss out on clicking pictures right on top of the smooth underlying stones or in the water.
Are you a nature lover and in Pahalgam? You will not miss this anyway.
