Terrible unenthusiastic guide. Don’t recommend.

The distillery itself has a wonderful visitor centre, however the distillery tour itself toured with Heather was terrible. The guide genuinely appeared bored and unenthusiastic. The foreign visitors in the group were struggling to follow what was being said, and the content appeared unprofessional. Little of the whiskey process making was explained, the guide couldn’t answer most of the questions asked, and didn’t really allow for questions and if anything provided incorrect answers. When it came to tasking the whiskey the visitors were left to their own devices worth the guide simply saying “I like this one” and not being able to provide much more content to the tasting experience with was essentially inexistent. We are Scottish and based in Scotland, usually visiting a new whiskey distillery every month or so and this was by far the worst whiskey distillery tour we have ever done, and was a disappointing start to our trip. The tour was clearly set for foreign visitors, but the inability and avoidance to answer questions coupled with incorrect answer, and terrible unprofessional attitude of the guide really tainted the experience, even for the foreign tourists within the group. Wouldn’t recommend.
