Solid aquarium but very crowded and limited educational information. Good for a hot or rainy day.

点评：I have been to many aquariums and Kaiyukan delivers moments of wonder and charm that makes it a solid experience. I especially loved its sea lions and harbor seals. Their playful antics and goofy charm bring genuine joy, and the towering whale shark exhibit adds a unique wow factor that’s hard to find elsewhere. Impossible actually unless you visit the Georgia aquarium in Atlanta.
However, the experience is dulled by overwhelming crowds, which make it difficult to linger and fully enjoy each display. Several exhibits felt underwhelming, or in the case of the penguins questionable and there’s a noticeable lack of detailed information about the marine life in each tank, leaving you without much context or educational opportunities.
Despite those drawbacks, the standout creatures and iconic architecture make Kaiyukan a worthwhile stop in Osaka just be prepared for a really busy crowded atmosphere.
