点评:We visited this large temple complex (6 hectares) as part of a tour group and had a local guide which made all the difference to the visit as he was able to explain all manner of things to us.
We stored our shoes and virtually all our belongings (no watches, mobiles, cameras etc.) except for umbrellas and water at a shop opposite the complex. We later spend time shopping but they also have an observation area up top which gave a bit of an opportunity to take photos as none are allowed within the complex.
The place has a number of temples with most being very colourful. They're painted every 12 years and this happened to be year 12 so most were covered in wooden scaffolding. Interesting to see, nevertheless, especially inside where occupational health and safety for the workers was non-existent.
The main gods for worshipping here are Shiva and Parvati who have their own areas although we did see a Ganesha area outside.
Well worth the visit.
