点评：We went there from Dagduseth Ganpati. It's less than 10 minutes walk through a crowded market. There is Nana Wada on the way, but we chose not to go inside & just got a look from outside.
The site is now mainted by ASI & need to book online ticket. The scanner to book ticket is availalbe outside if not pre-booked. The admission ticket is Rs. 20 per adult & childeren are free to enter.
Shaniwar Wada is an important historical site in Pune, especially for those interested in Maratha history. The structure itself is largely in ruins, but the massive gates, walls, and open courtyard still give a sense of its past significance. Information boards provide some context, though more detailed explanations and better upkeep would improve the experience.
Overall, worth a brief visit for historical context, but expectations should be kept realistic as there isn’t much preserved structure left.
