ISKCON Is An Impressive Temple - Even If You Only Walk the Grounds

点评：The ISKCON Temple was designed and built by Achyut Kanvinde, who in 1993, agreed to accept a pro-bono commission to build this temple complex for the followers of Srila Prabhupada. It is one of the largest temple complexes in India and is comprised of numerous rooms for priests and for service renders. The temple also has a 375-seat auditorium, which is used for cultural and religious functions. It has many halls that are used for its administration purposes and various seminars.
While the temple was closed for services while I was there, the surrounding areas were available to walk through. While I have never been to other parts of Asia, the architecture is unmistakable far east influence. It's stunning and very peaceful.
NOTE: In order to visit the higher grounds, closer to the temple, you must remove your shoes.
