点评:This 3km stretch road was earlier constructed by British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. During British tenure it was known as Kingsway. It was named in the honor of George V. After Independence in 1947, the name of Kingsway was changed to Rajpath. On 8th Sep-2022 prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Kartavya path and then onwards Rajpath is officially called as Kartavya path.

5. The newly renovated Kartavya Path has red granite walkways, refurbished canals, state wise food stalls, new amenity blocks, and vending kiosks.
