Peaceful place that could be better organised.
Bosque Los Colomos的点评
点评：We went to this park after visiting Zapopan's cathedral, the wlk took us 15-20 minutes through a neighborhood that felt safe in the day.
One you reach the big road sorrounding the forest use a pedestrian crossing at ground level, there are some elevated crossings but they are geared towards bicycles and take too long to negotiate by foot.
Once inside just follow the signs, you want to find the Japanese garden not only because it is a nice piece of gardening but also because there are toilets in good order near by.
Not far is a restaurant that serves an acceptable menu by the side of a pond full of turtles.
We tried to exit the park in a different gate but we couldn't find it, so we were told the easiest way to get out was going to the entrance we used coming from the cathedral.
There is a big road here in this entrance, one can arrive by taxi or there is a small parking lot (which may be full).
When we left we regretted not to have used the bus and metro (tram) combo which would have been infinitely better and probably faster. Just ask the locals or ask Google Maps, the public transport system works in an European style and is well integrated, so we could have taken the bus in this entrance (there are several snacks stalls) to the tram (metro/tren ligero) and from there go back to our hotel.
Instead we took an Uber, very nice chap, but yet again he wouldn't close the window for whatever bizarre reason that al taxi drivers have in mind in this town (I didn't ask why), so in heavy traffic you get all the noise and fumes, it can be very slow, and eventually with the heat it gets very unpleasant.
But the forest itself was a nice respite during a hectic holiday.

不过，森林本身在忙碌的假期里是一个不错的休憩之所。
