Great week in late November

点评：We arrived Thursday 21st and it was chucking it down Thursday and Friday morning.
Looking at the ground we thought we would never play but by Friday afternoon we were playing the back 9!! The drainage is Fantastic.
Sunday the wind was 37mph and some of us played 9 the really keen played the full 18. Again come Monday the wind had dropped the sun came out in the afternoon for the rest of our stay.
The Course. Great court one of the most difficult I have played and I was brought up on Northumberland Links courses!! Condition was, contrary to previous reports, very good although would have been better if players replaced their divots!!! The greens were in good condition, quick and undulating. When previous comment were made i can only guess they were over-seeding. Hats off to the many green keepers.
The hotel is massive I had a problem with my room but when I spoke to reception they quickly allocated me another room, only to have to move rooms again due to another issue but my final room was fantastic and close to the golf club section. Some rooms are a good 400 yards walk to the Golf Club. Put it this way I had a wander to the indoor pool from the golf club back then to the spa and back and covered one mile.
the food was a buffet style in the Golf restaraunt and was very good. I can fully recommend the chicken wings and the soup was delicious every day.
Staff are very good and service was always quick and to your table
All in all we had a good week it would have been 5 stars but some rooms are just too far away and the main restaurant wasn't open. The only reason I would have to think about a return to the hotel is the location, it is quite far away from..... anywhere but golf yes i will be back.

总而言之，我们度过了一个愉快的一周，本来可以达到 5 星级，但有些房间太远了，主餐厅没有营业。我唯一会考虑再次入住这家酒店的原因就是位置，它离......任何地方都很远，除了高尔夫球场，是的，我会回来的。
