Went a few days ago, one of the Worst experience ever, we booked a tour for parasailing, we had one go at first, which charged us money, then the tour guide (Adam I believe) suggested that we go a second round and that it’ll be free of charge. After the experience, we went back to the counter and they tricked us and said they never said it was free and charged the second round even more expensive . These staff targets tourists who are not familiar with their rules, they are very smooth with their lie, probably not their first time tricking tourists into paying more since they think most of us are clueless and cannot complain. Almost everyone there that day was Asian, they probably tricked everyone into paying more since we can’t speak well or stand up for ourselves. I believe lots of people fell for their little tricks, we deserve an apology and possibly a refund. If we don’t receive an apology, we will escalate the situation and review this to social media and Queensland travel platforms because I believe I’m not the first person who fell for this. The tour guide also didn’t take any photos for us since he said it’ll be free and that he didn’t want to leave evidences for the counter to charge us. Not only after did he charge us extra, we even left with no photos. There were lots of bad comments about the staff on tripadvisor, please take consideration of the people and tourists who came excited and left disappointed.
