点评:I wish I could give this 100 stars! The story is so fascinating and getting to see something like this is such a privilege…I’m so happy the home was preserved and turned into a museum. The entry fee is only €5 per person and they have informational papers in about 10 different languages. You’re handed the papers and take the self guided tour - locations and descriptions are numbered and it’s so easy to follow along. We didn’t realize that it was Mr. Faggiano who greeted us when we walked in! As we left, we chatted with a new person up at the fro t and it turns out her brother-in-law is Mr. Faggiano’s son! She was so wonderful and gave us information about the home when Mr. Faggiano owned it as a rental property (prior to him trying to fix a sewage issue which in turn led to the discovery of the ruins!) This was our favorite experience in Lecce - don’t miss it!
