点评：Dan is a fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable guide. We booked two activities with him - the nature walk and a trip to the bear hide.
The nature walk through the Carpathians was the highlight of our trip. Dan provided lots of interesting facts, stories and identification of birds and plants alike, not to mention swift action to ensure our safety from a protective mother bear and her three cubs. A truly memorable sighting.
If you're interested in just seeing bears, the bear hide is a good choice for this, especially with the feeding of them. It ended up being a larger, busier experience than we expected with multiple groups. This made it difficult to ask questions and receive information. After seeing bears on the walk, it made for a less "natural" experience, but was time well spent and there were other things to see as well as bears.
Thoroughly recommend Dan for his guiding and unique knowledge of the area and rhythm of life in such a beutiful setting.
