Loved it - First Time Try-a-dive Experience

点评：I finally checked off a long-standing bucket list item with the Puffin Dive Center in the summer — and what an experience it was! 🚤 The drive from Aberdeen to Oban was a surprisingly quick four hours, but the real experiences was underwater.
From the moment I arrived, everyone was fabulously friendly and welcoming 😊 — I felt like part of the family right away. The staff, especially Anna, my dive instructor, and Mike, who kept the vibe relaxed with coffee, great stories & jokes ☕, made me very comfortable and well-informed, as a complete beginner never having dived before. Anna's patience was legendary; even when I initially panicked getting underwater (cue the dramatic splashes! 😅), they were supportive, calm, and reassuring, guiding me through with a smile and an 'ok' sign👌.
The was also a person I met from the public there too, who had been diving with Puffin Dive Center for years, who was a fountain of wisdom 🧙♂️— sharing stories, wildlife sights and tips on long-term diving and how the center was one of his favorite places. His calming presence made a big difference, and it’s was clear Puffin Dive Center genuinely cares about giving authentic, non-touristy diving experiences🌟
What really stood out to me was that this wasn’t just warm-water holiday diving or a swimming pool lesson, where it all feels very easy; they truly gave me a genuine diving experience in challenging conditions, showing me what diving can really be like in cooler, sometimes tricky waters, with aquatic life all around ❄️🌊🦀. The water was crystal clear even with the waves looking slightly choppy, and the team were flexible about rescheduling if I wanted needed — I really appreciated that.
Long story short: if you want an authentic Scottish dive adventure in stunning waters, with wildlife and amazing scenery, I wholeheartedly recommend Puffin Dive Center. Am now hooked on the underwater world — and will likely be back to do the full course when my work schedule allows! 🌟
