点评：We met a couple on a hike in Spearfish that raved about the Termesphere Gallery. Being the art fanatics we are, we had to check it out for ourselves!
Dick Termes is an internationally acclaimed artist renowned for his six-point perspective technique. The gallery is housed in a distinctive geodesic dome with a mesmerizing display of rotating Termespheres — painted globes that transform as they spin, revealing intricate, multidimensional worlds.
Since it was winter hours, we called ahead and made an appointment to see the gallery. Admission is free. We met Dick's lovely wife Markie that showed us around the gallery. She is talented in her own right with her amazing puppets (Dragons Are To Seldom Puppet Productions). We also were able to experience a sneak peek at Dick's new venture in Virtual Reality!! Can't wait for y'all to experience this!!
The atmosphere is both whimsical and thought-provoking, making it a delightful stop for art enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. Before we knew it, we had spent an enjoyable hour viewing the creativity and wonder of Dick Termes! The gallery offers a selection of items for purchase, including smaller Termespheres and other unique souvenirs.
