Lovely animals, a lot of room for improvement! Please take on board

点评：The farm is lovely. A good range of animals to see. The goats are adorable! The children could hold the baby chick's. Sadly the government won't allow the children to feed the baby lambs any longer, it was explained.
Staff wise, there was only one young lady seen around the farm the whole visit? She also did the group visits with the chick's and baby lambs. This seemed surprising on quite a large site. She was very informative when the children were shown the animals, but definitely needed some extra help?!
The lower rating is due to the awful experience in the restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food. People served just before us and after us had finished their food, before we got ours and then it was cold. When I addressed how long we had waited and also that people after us had had their food and left already, instead of an apology, I was argued at and told this was not the truth.
If food is over an hour late, the first thing should be an apology surely?
The restaurant was being run by extremely young staff, nothing against that, but no where was there support for them in handling a very over run restaurant. Only two staff in sight, one waitress and very busy!
I feel there needs to representation of slightly older staff on the farm as well as the enthusiastic young greeter and animal handler. Only 4 young staff (around 16 to 18 years) seen in 4 hours of being there in the whole of the farm. It was very odd?
