点评:We had a lovely time at the farm and this was out third visit.
We then went to the cafe for lunch.
Upon arrival, we were the only 4 people in there. I ordered 2 toasties, a sausage roll and a bap with drinks.
Others entered the cafe after us and food was being brought through to them.
After waiting 40 minutes for a lunch that would take at maximum 10 minutes to make at home, I went to the till area and asked where our food was after waiting such a long time? The waitress looked at me blankly and just responded by saying 'table 17'. No; 'I am so sorry, I will find out what's happening!'
After a further 10 minutes it was brought to our table, the same girl didn't utter a word. What kind of service is this?
The toasties were luke warm and the crusts of the bread wet.
While we had been waiting for our lunch, 2 girls were on show out the back of the cafe doing absolutely nothing the whole time, but clearly cafe staff.
I spent over £90 at the farm today and I have come home feeling like I have completely let my children down to be honest.
Why do 2 toasties and a bap take so long to prepare when a cafe isnt busy and then are served luke warm.
When the same waitress came over to clear our table, not even asking if we had finished, I advised her the toasties had not been hot and she completely ignored me and walked away.
A professional business should not be running a cafe to such poor standards and I feel I should have been offered an apology and a refund not completely ignored!
