Truly a great experience
Land Rover Experience West Country的点评
点评：Fabulous experience, learnt so much. Booked our complimentary half-day at the Honiton site, making it into a four day break (can thoroughly recommend Airbnb Rae’s Retreat in nearby Fenny Bridges if you stopover)
Arrived midday for our ploughman’s lunch and subsequent debrief. Martin our tutor/guide/mentor then spent 45mins sitting in our own Velar (that we’d only bought in June) and showing us an awful lot that the dealer hadn’t bothered to and that I’d not been fully utilising but which should make for a better and safer driving experience going forward.
We then went off-roading in their hybrid Velar firstly across the parkland and then through the woods and I was left in awe at what our own Velar would be capable of should the situation ever arise - water, mud, hill climbs, deep descents . . . To be honest until now, living in London and not one for green-laning, I’d always looked at our car as a very prestigious SUV when compared to the more utilitarian vehicles in the JLR stable but today certainly changed by opinion, although I’d have to concede the full-fat versions still have that edge.
All in all a great experience, no thanks to Martin to whom we must offer our sincere thanks. And last but not least a big thank you for the hospitality provided by all the LR staff on site
