点评:This was a great tour. It was free to tour the keeper's house and the assistant keeper's house. Climbing the lighthouse was $6 per adult, which included climbing the old lighthouse down the street. According to the woman in the gift shop, it's 136 steps and is the tallest Michigan lighthouse that the public is allowed to climb. It certainly felt like the tallest one as we were climbing, but the views were magnificent. We went on a bit of a hazy day, so I can only imagine the views on a clear day (or in peak fall color!). We didn't walk them, but there were also trails all over the park.
The docent in the keeper's house was very knowledgeable, and the house had a lot of good information about its first family. The park did a great job restoring it to its original 1901 state.

看守人房子里的讲解员知识渊博,房子里有很多关于其第一代家庭的有用信息。公园在将其恢复到 1901 年的原始状态方面做得很好。
