Lovely city, largely traffic free but......
Aquädukt Saint Clément的点评
点评：Montpellier is a nice city. The tram network is impressive and makes it easy to get around town. There is very little road traffic, in city centre, presumably as a result of the network. There are four separate lines.
There are various things to see such as the Arch de Triomphe at Peyrou and the neighbouring Aqueduct. It is also worth a trip to Esplanade de l'Europe. Apart from the Olympic size swimming pool there is some stunning modern architecture between there and the river including the L'Arbre Blanc (White tree). There is a nice roof-top bar at the top, but it's not open every day.
One word of caution, the city revolves around the Place de la Comedie, which is worth a visit in itself. Especially when its all lit up at night. There are lots of places to eat and drink but very few of these I would class as a restaurant. It's all burgers, pizzas, crepes etc so mainly junk food. The aforementioned Esplanade de l'Europe has several restaurants of good quality although are closed during the day, only opening at 7pm.
