Surprising good bush winery

点评：We didn’t have huge expectations, so were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the winery…… a number of cars in the carpark and a reasonable crown inside, given this was a Monday afternoon. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. We tried a paddle wine tasting and a couple of the items from the small bites menus;- dumplings, olives, and roast pumpkin bruschetta. Dumplings were beautiful. The bruschetta had lovely flavours but the olive oil was a little heavy handed.
The wines were all nice, however we found the whites better than the reds. Prices for food and wine felt about right, and the service was fantastic. Beautiful bush setting, and definitely worth the easy 10 min drive from our accommodation in Lakes Entrance. Heaps of seating options, inside, out front, rear raised decks, and surrounded by lovely grounds.
